Why Are Indian Movies Getting Banned & Censored In 2025!

With so many Bollywood movies and series feeling the wrath of the censor board and ultimately not even releasing in theatres or streaming platforms, I wonder whether we are getting more intolerant as an audience as the years pass by. Are things just getting worse? Everything from Anurag Kashyap and Kennedy, Dibakar Banerjee with his film Tees, Diljit Dosanjh with Panjab 95 and the recent controversy with Empuraan! Is this our new reality?
