Arthroscopic bucket-handle lateral meniscal repair by Dr. Dold (all-inside technique)

This video shows the classic flipped bucket-handle lateral meniscal tear of the knee in a 21 year old rugby player. Here, we reduce the meniscus and perform an "all-inside" repair of the meniscus utilizing arthroscopic instruments. This preserves the entire meniscus rather than removing it (meniscectomy). The surgery is performed by Dr. Dold through two tiny 'keyhole' incisions in the knee. The procedure takes roughly 20 minutes.
