A former security contractor for Gaza's US‑ and Israel‑backed aid distribution sites told the BBC he witnessed colleagues opening fire with machine guns on Palestinian civilians who posed no threat. He described incidents where a guard fired from a watchtower at a group of women, children and elderly people moving slowly away from the site, and another guard laughing after a man fell motionless. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation denied the allegations, calling them false and stating no civilians were ever shot at its sites. The contractor said the GHF managers dismissed his report as a coincidence, while the foundation claimed he was a disgruntled former contractor terminated for misconduct.
