French Defence Minister and US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth pay tribute to the "heroes of today" who landed in Normandy on 6 June 1944 during a ceremony at Utah Beach to mark the 81st anniversary of the D-Day landings. "The world needs this peace and our unity," said Sebastien Lecornu in a speech.
