The new Mercedes-AMG GT is a vehicle that has been redesigned from the ground up. The AMG sports car architecture with its safe and torsionally rigid composite aluminium body structure allows it to be designed as a 2+2 seater. For a sports car in this class, that means plenty of space and room for luggage. The new AMG GT Coupé thus perfectly meets the requirements of a Grand Turismo. At the same time, it combines high everyday practicality with the sportiest driving characteristics currently available in the Mercedes-AMG portfolio. The market launch will be as the AMG GT63 4MATIC+ Coupé (combined fuel consumption (WLTP) 14.1 l/100 km, combined CO2 emissions (WLTP) 319 g/km). The 430 kW (585 hp) AMG 4.0‑litre V8 biturbo engine is combined with the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all‑wheel drive system for the first time in a two‑door AMG GT. High‑tech components such as the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with semi‑active roll stabilisation, active rear‑axle steering and active aerodynamics underline the flagship position in the performance and sports car brand's portfolio.
