The film "Жизнь - это рай" premiered on 16 January 2019 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of priest Valerian Krecetov’s ministry. It follows his visits to the Pokrovskaya church in Akulov, where he welcomed a 6th‑grade class, shared stories about the church and Christian living, and later encouraged the children to write reflections that were compiled into a booklet. The film interweaves scenes from his hometown Zaraysk, his father’s service in Tsaryovo, the island of Zalit, and the Akulov church, alongside the children’s memories, illustrating themes of faith, grace, prayer, family, and Russian rural life. With carefully chosen music and panoramic shots of the village and church, the film captures the spiritual impact of the priest’s ministry. The premiere concluded with a surprise: the students who appeared in the film came on stage with flowers and congratulations, deeply moving the priest.
