Leading Venezuelan opposition member Juan Pablo Guanipa is arrested on charges of leading a "terrorist network" that planned to attack parliamentary and regional polls on May 25, according to Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello. The arrest of Guanipa, a former MP and close ally of opposition leader Maria Corina Machado, comes amid opposition calls for a mass boycott of the weekend vote, which takes place 10 months after elections President Nicolas Maduro is widely accused of stealing.
