Spain expects exceptional May heatwave | AFP

The Spanish meteorological services are forecasting unusual high temperatures, particularly in the Sevilla region, where thermometers could reach over 40 degrees Celsius. The heatwave could push temperatures to their highest level for the time of year since 1950, national weather agency AEMET said on Wednesday.
