Osman Bey and Malhun Hatun’s wedding is arranged in the Kayı camp, with Turkish lords from the frontier attending. While Bala Hatun hides her sorrow, the wedding party decides to move the camp to Domaniç plain after the season. Despite the Mongol governor’s warnings, Togay breaks the agreement and attacks Osman Bey. While Osman is busy in Söğüt, the caravan is ambushed; Bamsı Bey, responsible for the camp’s safety, is severely wounded by Togay. Learning of the attack, Osman and his men rush to repel the Mongols.
