Thermal Evaporation of Silver for Solar Cells

This is the second of three videos depicting lab‑scale perovskite solar cell fabrication and characterization at the University of Washington. We introduce thermal evaporation, a versatile deposition technique used to fabricate thin films of metals, metal oxides, and organic semiconductors. Then, we deposit silver onto perovskite thin films using a thermal evaporator housed at the University of Washington's Research Training Testbed (RTT).
