The John Carpenter DVD game is a version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" where players can win a million dollars without using any lifelines. Released in November 2004 as part of the ninth set of games based on the second edition of the British DVD, it differs from the Italian and Swedish versions by having no host. Instead, Spanish voice actor Leopoldo Balestros asks the questions and provides commentary. The game was launched three years after the 50×15 "Quiere ser millonario?" project closed in 2001, even though the series was rebooted a year later.
