We didn’t expect to travel to South Korea just to conquer a skyscraper, but recent construction monitoring revealed that the Lotte World Tower in Seoul is already 555 m tall and still has cranes on the roof. We bought tickets and headed to one of the most modern and developed countries in the world. While we had many positive impressions of the country, this post is about the tower. Upon arrival we immediately began preparing to climb its hundred floors. After posting a photo from the summit on Instagram, people asked how we managed to get inside, given the tower’s ten perimeters, armed drones, camera clusters on the pylons, and vigilant staff with service dogs. We initially thought it would be impossible, but even in a perfect system there are gaps. How we did it is shown in our new video.
