Foreign defense companies can now test weapons in Ukraine

Ukraine has launched a new program allowing foreign defense companies to test prototype weapons directly on the battlefield. Announced by government‑backed tech incubator Brave1, the “Test in Ukraine” initiative invites allied nations to send drones, munitions, electronic warfare, and AI systems for real‑world testing. In return, companies receive performance reports and suggestions for improvements. The program also promotes co‑production with Ukrainian firms, Euro News has reported. This move follows recent EU‑Ukrainian defense partnerships, including joint funding, industrial cooperation, and deals with countries like Denmark to build defense tech across borders.
