Serial Ghahve Talkh is a historical comedy series directed by Mehran Modiri and produced by Majid Aqagoli and Hamid Aqagoli, which aired on the home media network. The screenplay was written by Amir Mehdi Zole and Khoshyar Alvand. Modiri, known for successful series such as Power Chain, Dot Chain, Shab-e Barreh, Bagh Mozafar, and Mard-e Hazar Chehre, claims this is his best historical work. The series was distributed weekly from 23 Shahrivar 1389, released in sets of CDs or DVDs, totaling 102 episodes across 34 sets, with only two sets containing the final six episodes not produced for unknown reasons. It premiered with a three‑day delay from 23 Shahrivar 1389 and became the most successful and best‑selling home media series during its run. The plot follows Nima Zand Karimi, a history teacher who, after discovering deleted pages of history, drinks coffee and travels to another era. There he lives among people of that time, marries the grandmother of Ria Khaneh—who was his love in his own time—and throughout the story attempts to alter history and prevent the attack of Mohammad Khan Qajar.
