Colombian President Gustavo Petro claimed a conservative presidential candidate’s security was “strangely reduced” before he was shot, raising concerns of a possible plot. Senator Miguel Uribe, 39, was critically wounded by a 15-year-old alleged hitman while campaigning in Bogotá. Authorities say the attacker used a gun bought legally in Arizona but don’t yet know who hired him.
