EU leaders leave Israel partnership on shelf despite pressure to act

Despite a report saying there are “indications” that Israel was in breach of its human rights obligations over its ongoing war in Gaza, European leaders could only agree at their council summit on Thursday to "continue discussions" on a follow-up to the report.
