We bought a 90s gangster garage along with a car. The garage was slated for a major overhaul and a Volkswagen Phaeton V12, but extensive moisture had corroded all the wiring, rendering the car inoperable. While inspecting the roof, we were shocked to find the waterproofing in numerous cracks, the roof height increased by two bricks, and the space filled with lightweight aggregate and sand for insulation. A thin layer of screed on top had turned to dust, and the entire roof was soaked through. We decided to dismantle everything possible. In the basement, beneath a thick layer of white mold, we discovered paneling, sparking wires, and even water inside the tiles. After removing all the debris, the garage continued to dry for a long time. We excavated a trench in front of the garage, installed basement waterproofing and insulated it with foam board. We plastered the walls and cut a pit in the garage to install a lift, which we built ourselves from a warehouse stacker. We also searched the car before sending it to a service, found more items, and calculated the profit from selling garage finds in a previous video.
