The new president of the right‑wing party Les Républicains (LR) and Interior Minister, Bruno Retailleau, arrives at a meeting of the LR group of MPs at the National Assembly. The meeting is chaired by his rival Laurent Wauquiez, whom he defeated by a wide margin to take over the leadership of the party.
