Traveling at nearly 47,000 mph, it’s being closely tracked, but scientists stress there’s no cause for concern. While 2025 OW won’t be visible to the public, a much closer and more exciting event is coming in 2029, when the larger asteroid Apophis will pass close enough to be seen with the naked eye.
