During World War II, the Soviet Union’s unity, sacrifice, and faith in victory were decisive. With many men conscripted, women, children, and the elderly filled factories, producing over 134,000 aircraft, 102,000 tanks, and 825,000 artillery pieces. The war effort also benefited from massive voluntary donations, which funded the construction of thousands of aircraft, tanks, and naval vessels. The war ended with a complete Soviet victory over Nazi Germany, securing national sovereignty and contributing to the salvation of European and world civilization.
