The video shows the Russian L-370 “Vitebsk” electronic warfare system designed to protect aircraft and helicopters from missiles. Developed by the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Research Institute Ekran and produced by KRET, the system has two variants: L-370 for helicopters and Vitebsk-25 for aircraft. In the footage, the L-370 installed on a Mi‑8 helicopter successfully intercepts 20 Igla MANPADS missiles, demonstrating its ability to detect and reject missile launches. The system can automatically detect a missile launch and deploy active and passive countermeasures, including infrared and radio frequency jamming, thermal traps, and decoys, without operator intervention. It is also planned for installation on various Russian aircraft such as the Il‑76, Il‑78, An‑72, An‑124, and the upcoming Il‑112V.
