4L60E Autopsy: No Forward Movement and Unusual Noises

I show the teardown of a 4L60E that came in with no forward movement and noises coming from the transmission. The teardown was unremarkable until I got to the front gear train and discovered that it did not want to come out of the case. Once I finally got it out, I saw a catastrophic, yet somewhat unusual melt down had occurred. This video will take a deep dive into the failures, scrutinize the wreckage for clues to help us understand what happened and why.
