A Minnesota state lawmaker, House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman, and her husband were shot and killed in their home early Saturday morning, an incident Governor Tim Walz described as an "act of targeted political violence." State Senator John Hoffman and his wife were also targeted in their home.
