Nearly two years ago, CRKT released the Redemption crossbar lock - a USA-made knife with a desing inspired by the “gambler daggers” of the Old West. A modern interpretation of a classic silhouette, the Redemption features snappy crossbar action and boy did it sell QUICK. CRKT knew they had something special with this design so they did what anyone should do - they expanded the Redemption model to a “knife family” with more options. First up is the Redemption Compact ($225). Boasting a blade length 0.78 inches shorter than the original, this model significantly more EDC friendly, but still contains the cool and classic look and colors of the original Redemption. The spearpoint blade shape is sharpened at only one end, and the handle feels a bit more comfortable in small and medium sized hands (like my own 😬). Another addition, the Redemption Blackout ($275) has all of the same measurements of the original, but with a black-on-black tactical feel. To be frank, it looks looking effing sweet! So much so imo…. that it wouldn’t be crazy to consider buying the blackout version even if you already have the OG colorway. And better yet, they made a compact blackout ($250) version as well. 🤌 All of these are going to be available at Blade Show Atlanta at the CRKT booth where you can hold them in person.
