An aerial over‑flight shows Vasuki Tal lake and the glacier below, where climbers set up a camp on the lake’s shore and trek up the rocky moraine toward Kalindi Khal pass. The team assembles tents on a glacial shelf, secures them with guy‑ropes, and prepares for a cold, windy night. After crossing the Shweta glacier, they descend the Raj Parav glacier on the other side of Kalindi Khal. The high‑altitude campsite sits on a thin ridge of rock and boulders beside a glacier with deep crevasses, filmed during the late monsoon when heavy rainfall, sleet and cloudy weather challenged the group. A rescue operation follows when a climber suffers high‑altitude pulmonary oedema, and the group roped together to bring him down safely. The pass, at 5,950 m, connects the Gangotri and Alaknanda valleys and has been a notable trekking route since the 1945 Indian expedition led by Swami Probodhananda.
