The UK 1st Edition for PC, released in October 2000, was the first European-based Who Wants to Be a Millionaire game for PC and the fourth overall, following the US 1st Edition, US Sports Edition, and US 2nd Edition. It featured a "millionaires club" that appeared when players won the Million Pounds, but the site was taken down in 2006 and now redirects to Square Enix's Montreal branch. The game also received ports for PlayStation One and Sega Dreamcast, and its popularity led to Eidos ports in twelve other countries, including Ireland, Australia, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Japan.
