Abbas Iraqchi, Iran’s foreign minister, condemned former U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent imitation of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. Iraqchi wrote on X that if Trump seeks an agreement, he must abandon his disrespectful tone toward the Iranian leader. He added that Trump’s conduct has wounded the hearts of millions of his supporters. Trump, in a White House briefing, had responded to Iranian remarks about a victorious war by mocking Khamenei and declaring, “we won.” Iraqchi further noted that Iranians do not heed threats or insults and that genuine intentions will bring respect.
