Dramatic footage as armed robbery suspects arrested

Queensland Police have released dramatic footage of several arrests made in relation to an alleged armed robbery. The group, allegedly armed with hammers, metal bars and wearing masks, entered a Gympie Road jewellery store. They smashed a number of glass cabinets and stole a large amount of jewellery. A 38‑year‑old male employee, who was working at the time, was allegedly struck in the head with a hammer during the incident and was treated at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for serious head and facial injuries.
