He spends time with Dragojla, Žota, Milašina, and son Dragan. His family includes wife Radojka, son Radoslav, Swedish-born stepdaughter Ingrid, grandson Tomas, daughter Milona with son‑in‑law Radenko, and grandchildren Milica and Milutin. The setting is the fictional village of Petlovac in Morava, between Kruševac and Trstenik.
