Best Camera Phones (Spring 2025) | Top 10+ Pocket Shooters!

Reviewing the best camera phones you can buy in 2025, including my favourites the Oppo Find X8 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Vivo X200 Pro and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. These are the greatest UK smartphones for capturing photos and video right now. And no, I don't think the camera on Samsung's Galaxy S25 Ultra or the iPhone 16 Pro Max is quite good enough to justify the price. Check out my review round-up of the best mid-range cameraphones for cheaper alternatives. Google's flagships are still two of the best camera options for shooting great looking family photos. The Pixel 9 and Pro phones can capture slick pics day or night, while the Pixel 9a is great on a tighter budget. If you're more into video, check out the Oppo Find X8 Pro, which absolutely nails it. And the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Vivo X200 Pro are ideal smartphones for camera lovers, with expert video controls and incredible HDR smarts. Last year's Huawei Pura 70 Ultra is still easily one of the best camera phones in 2025, although the lack of Google services will put many punters off.
