A John Carpenter game is where you win the Million Dollars in any Who Wants to Be a Millionaire video game without using a single lifeline. The game was released in October 2004 as one of eight different games based on the UK 2nd Edition DVD game. It is one of only three (along with the Spanish and Swedish versions) that does not feature host video packages after each question. The host, Gerry Scotti, does not provide his own vocals; an unknown voice actor performed the role, and the identity remains unknown. The win cutscene is identical to the UK 2nd Edition DVD and Australian 1st Edition DVD games, with the same prize draw.
