Donkey Kong Country Returns HD: Part 2: Modern 1-2: King of Cling

Having Donkey Kong grab things is entirely its own set of buttons in this game, such as picking up barrels and grabbing on to vines. This second level of the game has "touching grass" as an important mechanic. If you see a field of grass, DK can cling onto it to climb walls and hang on ceilings covered with the green stuff. Another character that came back from the older games is Cranky Kong, DK's crotchety old grandpa. He has houses all over the island that makes DK visit for shopping. Buy all sorts of different things from him with your Banana Coins, including extra 1‑UP Balloons, a use of Squawks to search for Puzzle Pieces, or even a Map Key that will unlock a sealed‑off level on that World, among other things. Nothing of an EXTRA level, mind you. Just another numbered one along your way.
