Fallen Leaf: Part 78: Stage 5-1: Deadly Bones

World 5, The Dreadlands, begins in a barren desert full of bones and is Thorn's homeland. Like New O'Maly City, this world offers variety that will eventually explain why Thorn chose it as her home. The level's title reflects its setting. Enemies resemble Mario's Dry Bones but are more challenging; when defeated, they scatter bone shards that can damage the player. Each Boney enemy dies from a single hit, but players must avoid the scattered bones. The level's Gold Chest contains a Withered Plant, a neglected survivor.
