The film follows a corporation that, despite opposition, releases humanoid robots and decides to send a spacecraft to Saturn to launch artificial satellites. The crew will consist of robots, and pilot Pirk, known for his honesty, is chosen to lead the mission. The corporation fears that Pirk's opinion could jeopardize profits, so they take measures to control the experiment. The story, based on Stanisław Lem’s tale, explores ethical questions and the blurred line between humans and androids as the crew faces psychological tension and uncertainty about who among them is truly human.
