French President Emmanuel Macron and Minister of Justice Gerald Darmanin arrive at the high-security prison of Vendin-le-Vieil in Pas-de-Calais, chosen by the Minister to house the 100 most dangerous drug traffickers. The facility was emptied a few weeks ago of almost all its occupants and is currently under construction to further enhance its security. It is expected to be fully operational by 31 July.
