A Norwegian man woke to find a cargo ship, the NCL Salten, had run aground just feet from his home along Trondheim Fjord. Johan Helberg said he slept through the incident and only learned of it when a neighbor rang his doorbell. The 440‑foot vessel caused minor damage to Helberg’s heating pump wire, but no injuries or oil spills were reported, the Oregonian as reported.
