Sultan Murad is battling both death and Kösem Sultan. He infects his sons with plague, they die, and he faces grief. Thinking his son will die, Valide Kösem presents Şehzade Kâsım and İbrahim to the Janissaries. Murad attacks the Janissary barracks, while Kösem plans to overthrow him but falls into a well. Murad sends envoys to Şehzade Kâsım and İbrahim, and the power struggle continues.
