During a Divine Liturgy, the archbishop read the Gospel of Luke (8:41‑56) about a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years and touched Jesus’ garment, being healed instantly, and about a synagogue leader’s daughter who was dead but revived by Jesus. Jesus taught that faith saves, and he commanded the daughter to rise, restoring her to life.
