Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait was allegedly heckled by right‑wing group members during a public meeting in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, held in solidarity with the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack. The incident turned tense when his turban was removed in the scuffle, and police and supporters had to intervene and escort him to safety. Calling it an "attack on farmer pride," Naresh Tikait of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) has summoned an emergency meeting.
