River crossing en route Kalindi Khal trek in Uttarakhand, in high altitude monsoon wet countryside

The footage follows a trekking team as they cross the Kalindi Khal pass in the Garhwal Himalaya during the late monsoon season. They set up tents on a rocky glacial shelf above the Raj Parav glacier, preparing for a cold, windy night. After crossing the Shweta glacier, they descend the Raj Parav glacier on the other side of Kalindi Khal. The team camps on a thin ridge of rock and boulders beside a glacier with deep crevasses, enduring heavy rainfall, sleet, and cloudy weather. The pass, at 5,950 metres, is heavily glaciated and connects Gangotri and Gastoli. The footage also shows a rescue of a climber suffering high‑altitude pulmonary oedema, with the group roped together for safety.
