Rust is a multiplayer survival simulation game developed by the independent British studio Facepunch, originally inspired by DayZ and Minecraft. The game features realistic weather, updated animal models, and a revamped building system. The experimental version removes zombie animals, adds double doors and hatches, and introduces decay to both building blocks and other items. The map is procedurally generated, and the thirst and hunger scales have been reworked.
