Rwanda, Congo sign peace treaty in 'glorious triumph'

Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo signed a U.S.-brokered peace agreement on Friday, raising hopes for an end to fighting that has killed thousands and displaced hundreds of thousands more this year. U.S. President Donald Trump met with Democratic Republic of the Congo Foreign Minister Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner and Rwandan Foreign Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe in the Oval Office of the White House on Friday (June 27), following their signing of a peace deal earlier in the afternoon at the State Department.
