Serial Ghahve Talkh is a historical comedy series directed by Mehran Modiri and produced by Majid Aqagoli and Hamid Aqagoli. The screenplay was written by Amir Mehdi Zole and Khoshyar Alvand. The show features 35 main actors, including Modiri himself, Sahar Jafari Jozani, Siamak Ansari, Mohammad Reza Hedayati, Hadi Kazemi, Javad Ezzati, Eila Abdulrazqi, and Arif Lorestani. Modiri, known for successful series such as Power Chain, Dot, Night of Barreh, Bagh Mozafar, and The Thousand Faces Man, claims that this historical collection showcases his best work. The series premiered weekly on 23 September 2010 and was distributed in a set of 34 volumes containing 102 episodes, with only two volumes of the final six episodes remaining unreleased for unknown reasons. It was broadcast with a three-day delay from its original air date and became the most successful and best-selling home media series during its run. The plot follows Nima Zand Karimi, a history teacher who, while searching for missing pages of history, drinks a special coffee that transports him to another era. There, he lives among people of that time, marries the grandmother of his beloved Roya, and works to alter history to prevent the attack of Mohammad Khan Qajar.
