Бishop Anisimov, known as Archbishop Augustinus, was elected by the Holy Synod on 15 March 2012. He was consecrated as archimandrite on 18 March at the Church of Christ the Savior, and later named bishop on 29 March in the Church of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God. He was ordained bishop on 8 April after the Divine Liturgy, with the participation of Patriarch Kirill and other senior clergy. He served in the Gorodetsky Eparchy, which covers several districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region. He passed away on 24 August 2023, and was buried in Nizhny Novgorod.
