TRON x F1 | Cinematic Music Crossover – Daft Punk & Hans Zimmer Tribute

A cinematic crossover inspired by TRON: Legacy and the F1 Movie. The TRON: Legacy score by Daft Punk has a special place in my heart. Hearing Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) talk about how he got into the Grid and seeing the title logo while Daft Punk’s theme kicks in mesmerized me back in the cinema in 2010. The theme instantly became unforgettable and even found its way into my own writing for quite some time. Now that TRON: Ares is out, my wife and I rewatched Legacy, and it’s still one of my all-time favorites. Around the same time, we watched the F1 Movie, and Hans Zimmer’s theme has likewise been looping over and over in my head — and in our car. They sound related somehow, like they could exist in the same world. So I thought, what if F1 met TRON? This arrangement was made purely for fun and self-learning, out of admiration for both artists — and with lots of love.
