Trump says not seeing results from US aid to Gaza

Speaking to reporters in Washington, US president Donald Trump said on Thursday that he was not seeing results from food aid the US has contributed to Gaza, where he described the situation as “terrible”. He added, “It’s terrible what’s occurring there … The United States gave 60 million dollars for food. And it’s a shame because nobody you know, I don’t see the results of it. And we gave it to people that in theory are watching over it fairly closely.”
