In this video, I put Unreal Engine 5.7 Preview to the test using my project DevGames3085. I stress‑tested foliage, lights, and Nanite to see if Epic’s latest improvements actually deliver. I ran performance tests in UE 5.6 vs UE 5.7, added heavy foliage and movable Lumen lights, tested translucency and foliage, checked if translucency still breaks Nanite (spoiler: it does), compared standalone and packaged builds side by side, and recorded real FPS results showing up to 15–20 frame gains in 5.7. This isn’t just theory — these are real results in my game, and I’ll let you be the judge. I even put together back‑to‑back build comparisons: the bald female character is in 5.6, while the Unreal mannequin is in 5.7.
