After the destruction of local separatist cells, it became known that the abandoned military airfield serves as a staging ground for enemy forces. The enemy has deployed equipment to block radar operations, preventing the Ukrainian Armed Forces from determining where personnel and equipment are being transferred by air. The enemy forces are significant, entrenched deep north of the airfield, controlling some settlements and possessing heavy armored vehicles.
