The UK 1st Edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire for PC, released in October 2000, was the first European version of the game and the fourth overall, following the US 1st Edition, US Sports Edition, and US 2nd Edition. It introduced the Millionaires Club, which was later taken down in 2006. The game was also ported to PlayStation One and Sega Dreamcast, and inspired ports in twelve other countries, including Ireland, Australia, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Japan.
