Description:

This 1972 Alfa Romeo left the factory as a right-hand-drive Spider Veloce 2000 example and was sent to Alfaholics in Somerset, UK, under previous ownership for conversion to the company’s Spider‑R specification. Build 013 was completed in 2014 with work involving a repaint in Prugna Metallizzato as well as installation of a 3.0L 24V Busso V6 with custom intake and throttle‑body assemblies in addition to MoTeC M130 engine management. Shifting is through a five‑speed manual transmission that was rebuilt in 2023, at which time the rear end was also overhauled and a limited‑slip differential was installed. The car was sent back to Alfaholics in 2024 for left‑hand‑drive and power‑steering conversions prior to being imported to the US. It rides on GTA‑style 15″ wheels and is further equipped with Alfaholics brake and suspension components, a custom‑fabricated stainless‑steel exhaust system, headlight covers, a heated windscreen, and a black soft top. Inside, a pair of the company’s Sport Road bucket seats trimmed in tan leather are accompanied by a Nardi wood‑rimmed steering wheel and a Bluetooth‑capable stereo. Recently acquired by the selling dealer, this Spider‑R is now offered with a recent service invoice and transferable New York State registration.
